The Christ the King Gladiators basketball team scored 60 points and limited the host Wheaton Academy Warriors to 40 in the Gladiators non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Gladiators now possess a 19-9 record. They play next when they travel to North Shore Country Day for a non-league game on Wednesday, February 19. Christ the King will play a Raiders team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to College Prep of America (Lombard, IL). The Raiders record now stands at 12-14.

With the loss, Wheaton Academy falls to 16-8 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Marian Central Catholic (Woodstock, IL) to play the Hurricanes in a non-league game on Monday, February 17. The Hurricanes go into the game with a record of 11-19. Marian Central Catholic lost 77-55 in their recent league game against Bishop McNamara (Kankakee, IL)
