The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Jay Bulldogs (Jay, OK) and the host Commerce Tigers (Commerce, OK), observed Jay's basketball team overwhelm Commerce by a score of 70-33.
The Bulldogs (5-14) will now prepare for their challenge against Vinita (Vinita, OK). The Hornets come into the non-league challenge with a 8-13 record. In their last challenge, Vinita was routed by Grove (Grove, OK), 70-45, in a non-league challenge.
In their next game, the Tigers encounter the Southeast Lancers (Cherokee, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Monday, February 17. Commerce will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Lancers come into the challenge with a 13-5 record after their 59-44 league win over Jayhawk Linn (Mound City, KS).
