The Cumberland Dukes (Cumberland, VA) basketball were winner over the visiting Lunenburg Central Chargers (Victoria, VA), 62-51 in Saturday's league bout.

The Dukes now possess a 15-6 record. They play next when they host Nottoway for a James River bout on Tuesday, February 18. Cumberland will play a Cougars team coming off a 80-49 non-league win over Buckingham (Buckingham, VA). The Cougars record now stands at 10-10.

With the loss, Lunenburg Central falls to 7-13 on the campaign.
