New Mexico High School Basketball - Roy/Mosquero triumphant over Des Moines

The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Roy/Mosquero Blue/Lady Blue (Roy, NM) and the host Des Moines Demons (Des Moines, NM), observed Roy/Mosquero's basketball team overwhelm Des Moines by a margin of 57-35.

The Blue/Lady Blue (18-5) will now prepare for their challenge against New Mexico School for the Deaf (Santa Fe, NM). The Roadrunners come into the A District 5 challenge with a 7-13 record. In their last challenge, New Mexico School for the Deaf was trounced by Cimarron (Cimarron, NM), 73-28, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Demons battle the Springer Red Devils (Springer, NM) in a A District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Des Moines will attempt to better on its 10-13 season record. The Red Devils come into the challenge with a 9-14 record after their 62-38 league loss to Roy/Mosquero (Roy, NM).
