The Lake Flyers (Millbury, OH) basketball edged the visiting Eastwood Eagles (Pemberville, OH), 66-65 in Saturday's league bout.
The Flyers now possess a 13-8 record. They play next when they travel to Maumee Valley Country Day for a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. Lake will play a Hawks team coming off a 81-71 non-league loss to Bluffton (Bluffton, OH). The Hawks record now stands at 13-8.
With the loss, Eastwood falls to 9-11 on the campaign. The Eagles travel to Elmwood (Bloomdale, OH) to play the Royals in a non-league bout on Tuesday, February 18. The Royals go into the bout with a record of 5-16. Elmwood lost 39-29 in their recent non-league bout against Tinora (Defiance, OH)
