The Lawrence County Bulldogs basketball squad (Louisa, KY), was nudged 77-75 in Saturday's non-league battle with the visiting Pike County Central Hawks (Pikeville, KY)
With the victory, Pike County Central advances its record to 17-8 on the year. The Hawks host Magoffin County (Salyersville, KY) to meet the Hornets in a non-league battle on Wednesday, February 19. The Hornets enter the battle with a record of 7-17.
The Bulldogs now own a 18-9 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Fairview for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 18. Lawrence County will meet a Eagles squad coming off a 69-34 non-league loss to Elliott County (Sandy Hook, KY). The Eagles record now stands at 4-20.
