The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Mount Vernon Majors (Alexandria, VA) and the host Lewis Lancers (Springfield, VA), observed Mount Vernon's basketball team knock off Lewis by a score of 44-25.
In their next game, the Lancers encounter the Edison Eagles (Alexandria, VA) in a District 3 challenge, on Tuesday, February 18. Lewis will attempt to improve on its 3-18 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 14-7 record after their 84-59 league win over Lewis (Springfield, VA).
