The crowd at Saturday's league challenge between the Scottsbluff Bearcats (Scottsbluff, NE) and the visiting McCook Bison (McCook, NE), observed Scottsbluff's basketball team overwhelm McCook by a score of 87-63.

The Bearcats (19-3) will now prepare for their challenge against Gering (Gering, NE). The Bulldogs come into the B District 8 challenge with a 9-11 record.

In their next game, the Bison battle the Cozad Haymakers (Cozad, NE) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 20. McCook will attempt to improve on its 15-7 season record. The Haymakers come into the challenge with a 20-3 record after their 66-43 league win over Broken Bow (Broken Bow, NE).
