In Saturday's non-league contest, the host St. Andrew's Cardinals basketball team scored a good 59-45 triumph over the Middletown Cavaliers.
The Cardinals (11-6) will now prepare for their contest against Glasgow (Newark, DE). The Dragons go into the non-league contest with a 10-8 record. In their last contest, Glasgow was topped by Dickinson (Wilmington, DE), 65-61, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Cavaliers battle the St. Elizabeth Vikings (Wilmington, DE) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 17. Middletown will attempt to better on its 9-9 season record. The Vikings go into the contest with a 18-3 record after their 53-47 non-league loss to Sanford (Hockessin, DE).
