The crowd at Saturday's non-league challenge between the Wheeling Central Catholic Maroon Knights (Wheeling, WV) and the visiting Monroe Central Seminoles (Woodsfield, OH), observed Wheeling Central Catholic's basketball team edge Monroe Central by a score of 60-56.
The Maroon Knights (15-2) will now prepare for their test against Tyler (Sistersville, WV). The Knights come into the non-league test with a 8-10 record. In their last test, Tyler held off Wirt County (Elizabeth, WV), 69-57, in a league test.
The Seminoles (19-3) will now prepare for their test against Crooksville (Crooksville, OH). The Ceramics come into the non-league test with a 7-14 record.
