New York High School Basketball - Penn Yan Academy routed by World of Inquiry

World of Inquiry Griffins (Rochester, NY) boosters left the game satisfied Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad triumph over the host Penn Yan Academy Mustangs (Penn Yan, NY), 79-57 in a non-league match.

With the victory, World of Inquiry upgrades its record to 16-2 on the year. The Griffins host Edison Tech (Rochester, NY) to face the Inventors in a non-league match on Tuesday, February 18. The Inventors enter the match with a record of 3-9. Edison Tech lost 55-49 in their recent league match against School of the Arts (Rochester, NY)

The Mustangs now sport a 1-17 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Mynderse Academy for a Section 5 Finger Lakes - East match on Tuesday, February 18. Penn Yan Academy will face a Blue Devils squad coming off a 65-62 league win over Newark (Newark, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 10-7.
