In Saturday's league test, the Wilson Memorial Green Hornets (Fishersville, VA) basketball squad knocked off the host Riverheads Gladiators (Staunton, VA), by a score of 67-59.

Next, the Green Hornets clash with the Stuarts Draft Cougars (Stuarts Draft, VA) in a Shenandoah test, on Monday, February 17. Wilson Memorial will attempt to improve on its 19-3 season record. The Cougars come into the test with a 14-8 record after their 66-61 league loss to Fort Defiance (Fort Defiance, VA).

The Gladiators (10-12) will now prepare for their test against Buffalo Gap (Swoope, VA). The Bison come into the Shenandoah test with a 5-13 record. In their last test, Buffalo Gap went down by Waynesboro (Waynesboro, VA), 56-23, in a league test.
