In Saturday's non-league contest, the host Chaparral Wolverines basketball team scored a good 68-60 triumph over the Mountain Vista Golden Eagles.
The Wolverines (8-3) will now prepare for their contest against Ponderosa (Parker, CO). The Mustangs go into the non-league contest with a 17-1 record. In their last contest, Ponderosa topped ThunderRidge (Highlands Ranch, CO), 72-35, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Golden Eagles battle the ThunderRidge Grizzlies (Highlands Ranch, CO) in a non-league contest, on Monday, February 17. Mountain Vista will attempt to better on its 15-3 season record. The Grizzlies go into the contest with a 9-7 record after their 72-35 non-league loss to Ponderosa (Parker, CO).
