Greenbrier East Spartans (Lewisburg, WV) supporters left the game happy Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad hold off the visiting Logan Wildcats (Logan, WV), 58-51 in a non-league match.
With the victory, Greenbrier East advances its record to 18-1 on the year. The Spartans travel to Elkins (Elkins, WV) to meet the Tigers in a non-league match on Monday, February 17. The Tigers enter the match with a record of 11-8. Elkins lost 61-25 in their recent non-league match against Southern (Oakland, MD)
The Wildcats now own a 14-6 record.
