In Saturday's non-league battle, the host Hull Pirates basketball squad scored a decisive 56-33 victory over the Nantucket Whalers.
With the victory, Hull advances its record to 7-6 on the year. The Pirates host Randolph (Randolph, MA) to meet the Blue Devils in a South Shore battle on Tuesday, February 18. The Blue Devils enter the battle with a record of 1-10.
The Whalers now own a 7-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martha's Vineyard Regional for a Cape & Islands battle on Sunday, February 16. Nantucket will meet a Vineyarders squad coming off a 50-38 league win over Monomoy (Harwich, MA). The Vineyarders record now stands at 7-9.
