Next, the Tigers encounter the Jefferson Cavaliers (Sioux Falls, SD) in a non-league test, on Thursday, February 20. Marshall will attempt to improve on its 25-1 season record. The Cavaliers come into the test with a 8-8 record after their 66-45 league win over Brookings (Brookings, SD).

The Cougars (2-23) will now prepare for their test against Mankato West (Mankato, MN). The Scarlets come into the AAA Section 2 test with a 9-17 record. In their last test, Mankato West was routed by Kasson-Mantorville (Kasson, MN), 52-39, in a non-league test.
