The Boyd County Lions basketball squad (Ashland, KY), was nudged 45-41 in Saturday's non-league battle with the host Cabell Midland Knights (Ona, WV)
With the victory, Cabell Midland advances its record to 12-4 on the year. The Knights travel to Woodrow Wilson (Beckley, WV) to meet the Flying Eagles in a non-league battle on Monday, February 17. The Flying Eagles enter the battle with a record of 0-0.
The Lions now own a 0-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Greenup County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 18.
