In Saturday's non-league contest, the visiting Hatch Valley Bears basketball team scored a good 61-52 triumph over the Cobre Indians.
The Bears (2-2) will now prepare for their contest against Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM). The Tigers go into the non-league contest with a 4-5 record. In their last contest, Hot Springs was topped by Cliff (Cliff, NM), 54-36, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Indians battle the Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, February 22. Cobre will attempt to better on its 0-14 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 4-5 record after their 54-36 non-league loss to Cliff (Cliff, NM).
