The Hillsboro-Deering Hillcats basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Newport Wildcats to 49 in the Hillcats non-league triumph on Saturday.
The Hillcats now possess a 9-7 record.
With the loss, Newport falls to 0-3 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Beechwood (Fort Mitchell, KY) to confront the Tigers in a non-league game on Tuesday, February 18. The Tigers go into the game with a record of 0-0.
