In Wednesday's league match, the host St. Mary Saints basketball team scored a good 53-44 triumph over the Gateway Regional Gators.
In their next game, the Saints meet the Lee Wildcats (Lee, MA) in a non-league match, on Thursday, February 17. St. Mary will attempt to move on its 5-8 season record. The Wildcats enter the match with a 3-8 record after their 58-42 non-league loss to Smith Academy (Hatfield, MA).
With the defeat, Gateway Regional moves to 1-9 on the year.
