Fans at Wednesday's league challenge between the Mancelona Ironmen (Mancelona, MI) and the visiting Inland Lakes Bulldogs (Indian River, MI), saw Mancelona's basketball squad overcome Inland Lakes by a tally of 53-45.
With the victory, Mancelona improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign. The Ironmen travel to Pellston (Pellston, MI) to play the Hornets in a Ski-Valley challenge on Friday, February 18. The Hornets come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Pellston lost 44-32 in their recent league challenge against Bellaire (Bellaire, MI)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Onaway Cardinals (Onaway, MI) in a Ski-Valley challenge, on Friday, February 18. Inland Lakes will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 14-1 record after their 71-35 league win over St. Mary Cathedral (Gaylord, MI).
