Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Smith Academy Falcons (Hatfield, MA) and the host Lee Wildcats (Lee, MA), saw Smith Academy's basketball squad overcome Lee by a tally of 58-42.

With the victory, Smith Academy improves its record to 10-5 on the campaign.

Next up, the Wildcats play the St. Mary Saints (Westfield, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, February 17. Lee will attempt to improve on its 3-8 season record. The Saints come into the challenge with a 5-8 record after their 53-44 league win over Gateway Regional (Huntington, MA).
