Arkansas High School Basketball - Barton knocked off by Carlisle

The Carlisle Bison basketball team scored 65 points and held the host Barton Bears to 52 in the Bison non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Bison now sport a 11-12 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lee for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 18. Carlisle will meet a Trojans team coming off a 63-45 non-league win over Palestine-Wheatley (Palestine, AR). The Trojans record now stands at 21-5.
The Bears (10-8) will now prepare for their contest against Rector (Rector, AR). The Cougars enter the non-league contest with a 20-5 record. In their last contest, Rector was outscored by East Poinsett County (Lepanto, AR), 65-61, in a non-league contest.
