The Brunswick Academy Vikings (Lawrenceville, VA) basketball felled the host Fuqua Falcons (Farmville, VA), 69-54 in Thursday's league test.
The Vikings (13-10) will now prepare for their test against Tidewater Academy (Wakefield, VA). The Warriors go into the VISAA Division IV test with a 4-15 record. In their last test, Tidewater Academy went down by Kenston Forest (Blackstone, VA), 73-55, in a league test.
The Falcons now own a 3-18 record. They play next when they travel to Amelia Academy for a VISAA Division IV test on Friday, February 17. Fuqua will encounter a Patriots squad coming off a 78-67 league loss to Southampton Academy (Courtland, VA). The Patriots record now stands at 4-13.
