Cape Henlopen Vikings (Lewes, DE) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the host Smyrna Eagles (Smyrna, DE), 84-63 in a league bout.

With the victory, Cape Henlopen upgrades its record to 12-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Middletown (Middletown, DE) to play the Cavaliers in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Cavaliers come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Middletown won 91-66 in their recent non-league bout against Caravel (Bear, DE)

Next up, the Eagles play the St. Georges Tech Hawks (Middletown, DE) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 20. Smyrna will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Hawks come into the bout with a 13-5 record after their 55-53 league win over Hodgson Vo-Tech (Newark, DE).
