Career Magnet Panthers (New Haven, CT) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Lyman Hall Trojans (Wallingford, CT), 47-45 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Career Magnet upgrades its record to 5-14 on the campaign. The Panthers travel to Whitney RVT (Hamden, CT) to play the Owls in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Owls come into the bout with a record of 15-2. Whitney RVT won 81-78 in their recent non-league bout against Bullard-Havens (Bridgeport, CT)

Next up, the Trojans play the Platt RVT Panthers (Milford, CT) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 21. Lyman Hall will attempt to upgrade on its 6-13 season record. The Panthers come into the bout with a 7-11 record after their 59-41 non-league loss to Amistad (New Haven, CT).
