The Central Lions (Carrollton, GA) basketball knocked off the visiting Northwest Whitfield Bruins (Tunnel Hill, GA), 60-44 in Thursday's league test.

The Lions (23-3) will now prepare for their test against Sonoraville (Calhoun, GA). The Phoenix go into the non-league test with a 19-7 record. In their last test, Sonoraville notched a victory over Southeast Whitfield County (Dalton, GA), 53-36, in a non-league test.
