The Estancia Bears (Estancia, NM) basketball felled the visiting Monte Del Sol Charter Dragons (Santa Fe, NM), 68-59 in Thursday's league test.
The Bears (10-13) will now prepare for their test against Native American Community Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Eagles go into the 2A District 2 test with a 2-20 record. In their last test, Native American Community Academy was beaten by Menaul (Albuquerque, NM), 70-15, in a league test.
The Dragons now own a 12-13 record. They play next when they host Tierra Encantada for a 2A District 2 test on Saturday, February 18. Monte Del Sol Charter will encounter a squad coming off a 52-33 league loss to Academy for Technology and The Classics (Santa Fe, NM). The record now stands at 8-13.
