The Shepaug Valley Spartans basketball team scored 67 points and held the host Gilbert Yellowjackets to 51 in the Spartans league triumph on Thursday.

The Spartans now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host O'Brien RVT for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 21. Shepaug Valley will battle a Condors team coming off a 71-69 non-league win over Wolcott RVT (Torrington, CT). The Condors record now stands at 11-8.
