The Lewiston-Altura Cardinals basketball team (Lewiston, MN), dropped 64-53 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Pine Island Panthers (Pine Island, MN)
The Panthers now possess a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host Waseca for a non-league battle on Tuesday, February 21. Pine Island will battle a Bluejays team coming off a 70-58 non-league loss to Marshall (Marshall, MN). The Bluejays record now stands at 19-6.
The Cardinals (10-12) will now prepare for their battle against La Crescent (La Crescent, MN). The Lancers come into the AA Section 1 battle with a 17-7 record. In their last battle, La Crescent beat Rushford-Peterson (Rushford, MN), 59-24, in a non-league battle.
