Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, MA) and the visiting Westport Wildcats (Westport, MA), saw Lexington's basketball squad hold off Westport by a count of 69-65.

With the victory, Lexington upgrades its record to 14-6 on the campaign. The Minutemen travel to Wellesley (Wellesley, MA) to play the Raiders in a non-league challenge on Monday, February 20. The Raiders come into the challenge with a record of 10-7. Wellesley lost 57-40 in their recent league challenge against Needham (Needham, MA)

Next up, the Wildcats play the Bishop Connolly Cougars (Fall River, MA) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, February 17. Westport will attempt to upgrade on its 12-8 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 5-11 record after their 63-51 non-league loss to Holbrook (Holbrook, MA).
