In Thursday's non-league match, the host Mashpee Falcons basketball team scored a tight 55-49 triumph over the Monomoy Sharks.
In their next game, the Falcons meet the Nantucket Whalers (Nantucket, MA) in a non-league match, on Friday, February 17. Mashpee will attempt to move on its 7-12 season record. The Whalers enter the match with a 10-8 record after their 57-56 league win over Cape Cod Academy (Osterville, MA).
With the defeat, Monomoy moves to 6-12 on the year. The Sharks travel to Bourne (Bourne, MA) to meet the Canalmen in a non-league match on Sunday, February 19. The Canalmen enter the match with a record of 15-3. Bourne won 79-78 in their recent league match against Wareham (Wareham, MA)
