The Wakefield Memorial Warriors (Wakefield, MA) basketball crushed the host Salem Witches (Salem, MA), 67-41 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Warriors (16-2) will now prepare for their test against Canton (Canton, MA). The Bulldogs go into the non-league test with a 10-9 record. In their last test, Canton was trounced by Mansfield (Mansfield, MA), 61-39, in a league test.
The Witches now own a 13-6 record. They play next when they host Salem Academy Charter for a non-league test on Friday, February 17. Salem will encounter a Navigator squad coming off a 60-57 non-league win over Academy of the Pacific Rim (Hyde Park, MA). The Navigator record now stands at 18-3.
