Georgia High School Basketball - South Cobb can't hold off St. Pius X Catholic

The St. Pius X Catholic Golden Lions basketball team scored 53 points and held the visiting South Cobb Eagles to 49 in the Golden Lions non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Golden Lions now sport a 21-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Riverwood for a non-league contest on Friday, February 17. St. Pius X Catholic will battle a Raiders team coming off a 61-59 non-league win over Marist (Atlanta, GA). The Raiders record now stands at 18-9.
The Eagles (13-13) will now prepare for their contest against Marist (Atlanta, GA). The War Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 18-8 record. In their last contest, Marist was nudged by Riverwood (Sandy Springs, GA), 61-59, in a non-league contest.
