In Thursday's non-league match, the visiting West Mesa Mustangs basketball team scored a tight 63-60 triumph over the Sandia Matadors.
With the defeat, Sandia moves to 7-11 on the year. The Matadors host Piedra Vista (Farmington, NM) to meet the Panthers in a non-league match on Friday, February 17. The Panthers enter the match with a record of 14-8. Piedra Vista lost 55-52 in their recent non-league match against West Mesa (Albuquerque, NM)
