In Thursday's league outing, the St. Charles Fighting Saints (St. Charles, MN) basketball squad edged the visiting Blooming Prairie Awesome Blossoms (Blooming Prairie, MN), by a count of 50-48.
The Fighting Saints (11-14) will now prepare for their outing against Chatfield (Chatfield, MN). The Gophers go into the AA Section 1 outing with a 16-8 record. In their last outing, Chatfield held off Wabasha-Kellogg (Wabasha, MN), 70-34, in a league outing.
The Awesome Blossoms now hold a 9-9 record. They play next when they host Bethlehem Academy for a non-league outing on Friday, February 17.
