East Buchanan Bulldogs (Gower, MO) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host St. Joseph Christian Lions (St. Joseph, MO), 53-38 in a non-league bout.

With the win, East Buchanan upgrades its record to 14-4 on the season.

Next up, the Lions clash with the North Andrew Cardinals (Rosendale, MO) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, February 21. St. Joseph Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 16-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the bout with a 15-10 record after their 38-29 non-league win over Rock Port (Rock Port, MO).
