New Mexico High School Basketball - Gallup topples Kirtland Central

February 16, 2023: Kirtland, NM 87417

In Thursday's league outing, the Gallup Bengals (Gallup, NM) basketball squad beat the host Kirtland Central Broncos (Kirtland, NM), by a margin of 55-42.

The Bengals (21-4) will now prepare for their outing against Miyamura (Gallup, NM). The Patriots go into the 4A District 1 contest with a 7-17 record. In their last contest, Miyamura prevailed over Aztec (Aztec, NM), 56-38, in a league outing.

The Broncos now own a 23-2 record. They play next when they travel to Shiprock for a 4A District 1 outing on Saturday, February 18. Kirtland Central will clash with a Chieftains squad coming off a 61-28 league loss to Bloomfield (Bloomfield, NM). The Chieftains record now stands at 5-20.
