In Thursday's non-league match, the host Iron Mountain Mountaineers basketball team scored a tight 39-34 triumph over the Kingsford Flivvers.
In their next game, the Mountaineers meet the Gwinn Modeltowners (Gwinn, MI) in a Mid-Peninsula match, on Tuesday, February 21. Iron Mountain will attempt to better on its 4-15 season record.
