The Jenkins County War Eagles (Millen, GA) basketball felled the visiting McIntosh County Academy Buccaneers (Darien, GA), 56-43 in Thursday's non-league test.
The War Eagles (19-6) will now prepare for their test against Montgomery County (Mt. Vernon, GA). The Eagles go into the A D2 Region 3 test with a 25-1 record. In their last test, Montgomery County thwarted Emanuel County Institute (Twin City, GA), 53-36, in a non-league test.
The Buccaneers now own a 7-18 record.
