The Kasson-Mantorville Komets basketball team (Kasson, MN), was overwhelmed 78-48 in Thursday's league battle with the visiting Stewartville Tigers (Stewartville, MN)
The Tigers now possess a 20-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Pine Island for a non-league battle on Friday, February 17. Stewartville will battle a Panthers team coming off a 63-21 league loss to Plainview-Elgin-Millville (Elgin, MN). The Panthers record now stands at 0-24.
The Komets (11-10) will now prepare for their battle against New Prague (New Prague, MN). The Trojans come into the non-league battle with a 11-11 record. In their last battle, New Prague was overwhelmed by St. Louis Park (St. Louis Park, MN), 67-62, in a non-league battle.
