The Lakeshore Lancers (Stevensville, MI) basketball nipped the host Mattawan Wildcats (Mattawan, MI), 55-51 in Thursday's league test.
The Lancers (14-5) will now prepare for their test against Dowagiac (Dowagiac, MI). The Chieftains go into the non-league test with a 9-10 record. In their last test, Dowagiac got by Berrien Springs (Berrien Springs, MI), 35-30, in a league test.
The Wildcats now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they travel to Gull Lake for a non-league test on Thursday, February 23.
