The Montevideo Thunderhawks (Montevideo, MN) basketball knocked off the visiting Melrose Dutchmen (Melrose, MN), 53-43 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Thunderhawks (17-3) will now prepare for their test against Yellow Medicine East (Granite Falls, MN). The Sting go into the non-league test with a 11-12 record.
The Dutchmen now own a 3-20 record. They play next when they host Paynesville for a non-league test on Monday, February 20. Melrose will encounter a Bulldogs squad coming off a 47-35 non-league loss to Belgrade-Brooten-Elrosa (Belgrade, MN). The Bulldogs record now stands at 11-12.
