Peshtigo Bulldogs (Peshtigo, WI) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the visiting Menominee Maroons (Menominee, MI), 48-43 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Peshtigo upgrades its record to 15-9 on the campaign. The Bulldogs travel to Sevastopol (Sturgeon Bay, WI) to play the Pioneers in a Packerland bout on Saturday, February 18. The Pioneers come into the bout with a record of 23-1. Sevastopol won 67-36 in their recent league bout against Oconto (Oconto, WI)

Next up, the Maroons play the Escanaba Eskymos (Escanaba, MI) in a Great Northern U.P. bout, on Thursday, February 23. Menominee will attempt to upgrade on its 7-11 season record.
