Kentucky High School Basketball - Mercer County fells Southwestern

Mercer County Titans (Harrodsburg, KY) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Southwestern Warriors (Somerset, KY), 55-42 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Mercer County upgrades its record to 16-13 on the season.

Next up, the Warriors play the Harlan County Black Bears (Harlan, KY) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 17. Southwestern will attempt to upgrade on its 17-12 season record. The Black Bears go into the bout with a 15-7 record after their 80-52 non-league loss to Jackson County (McKee, KY).
