North Central Jets (Powers, MI) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Rapid River Rockets (Rapid River, MI), 40-28 in a non-league bout.

With the win, North Central upgrades its record to 3-15 on the season. The Jets host Bark River-Harris (Harris, MI) to play the Broncos in a non-league bout on Monday, February 20. The Broncos go into the bout with a record of 15-5. Bark River-Harris won 58-45 in their recent non-league bout against Carney-Nadeau (Carney, MI)

Next up, the Rockets play the North Dickinson Nordics (Felch, MI) in a Skyline bout, on Monday, February 20. Rapid River will attempt to upgrade on its 1-17 season record. The Nordics go into the bout with a 5-11 record after their 46-36 league win over Forest Park (Crystal Falls, MI).
