The West Lauderdale Knights baseball team scored 5 runs and limited the visiting Clarkdale Bulldogs to 1 in the Knights non-league victory on Friday.
The Knights (1-0) will now prepare for their match against Neshoba Central (Philadelphia, MS). The Rockets go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Neshoba Central was overwhelmed by Kosciusko (Kosciusko, MS), 7-1, in a non-league match.
The Bulldogs (0-1) will now prepare for their match against Newton County (Decatur, MS). The Cougars go into the non-league match with a 1-1 record. In their last match, Newton County edged Clinton (Clinton, MS), 1-0, in a non-league match.
