The Akron-Fairgrove Vikings basketball team scored 64 points and held the host Carsonville-Port Sanilac Tigers to 40 in the Vikings league triumph on Friday.

The Vikings now sport a 7-13 record. They put it on the line next when they host Caseville for a North Central Thumb contest on Tuesday, February 20. Akron-Fairgrove will meet a Eagles team coming off a 64-14 league loss to All Saints Central (Bay City, MI). The Eagles record now stands at 2-14.

The Tigers (5-13) will now prepare for their contest against Landmark Academy (Kimball, MI). The enter the non-league contest with a 2-13 record. In their last contest, Landmark Academy was routed by CenterPoint Christian Academy (Burton, MI), 60-53, in a league contest.
