The Bishop Ward Cyclones basketball team scored 56 points and held the visiting Kansas City Christian School Panthers to 50 in the Cyclones non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cyclones now sport a 11-6 record. They put it on the line next when they host Heritage Christian Academy for a non-league contest on Tuesday, February 20. Bishop Ward will meet a Chargers team coming off a 59-48 league loss to Cair Paravel (Topeka, KS). The Chargers record now stands at 9-10.

The Panthers (4-15) will now prepare for their contest against Maranatha Christian Academy (Shawnee, KS). The Eagles enter the Crossroads contest with a 9-9 record. In their last contest, Maranatha Christian Academy was nudged by Bishop Seabury Academy (Lawrence, KS), 44-33, in a league contest.
