Bradford Owls (Bradford, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Punxsutawney Chucks (Punxsutawney, PA), 44-31 in a league bout.

With the victory, Bradford upgrades its record to 9-13 on the campaign. The Owls travel to St. Marys (St. Marys, PA) to play the Flying Dutch in a non-league bout on Friday, February 23. The Flying Dutch come into the bout with a record of 10-13. St. Marys lost 48-37 in their recent non-league bout against Johnsonburg (Johnsonburg, PA)

Next up, the Chucks play the Clearfield Bison (Clearfield, PA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, February 23. Punxsutawney will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Bison come into the bout with a 5-17 record after their 65-32 non-league win over Curwensville (Curwensville, PA).
